TANADA KOJI

Tanada Koji (b. 1968 in Hyogo, Japan) obtained a Master in Fine Arts and Music from Tokyo National University. He is the recipient of 20th Takashimaya Art Award (2009) and 8th Taro Okamoto Memorial Award for Contemporary Art (2005) special prize. To date, Tanada has actively been participating in solo exhibitions, namely Bandung Sketches, Mizuma Art Gallery, Tokyo, Japan (2016), From Koyasan to Borobudur, Mizuma Gallery, Singapore (2016), Yomi to Kagenmi, Noh Box, Sendai, Japan (2013), Eleven boys, one girl, Vangi Sculpture Garden Museum, Shizuoka, Japan (2009) and Leisurely toward Affirmation, Gallery αM, Tokyo, Japan (1997). He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Japan, United States, Singapore, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, United Kingdom, and Germany. Tanada Koji currently lives and works in Kanagawa, Japan,
